A family-owned community business, L.C. Auto Body opened thirty five years ago in a small garage in Coatesville. From its inception it has been a grassroots community business providing quality refinishing and collision repairs that are second to none. Owner and operator Larry Constable, a 1981 graduate of Octorara High School and a lifelong resident of Parkesburg, has great memories of growing up in the borough. Recollections of Soap Box Derby races on First Avenue, buying candy from Dee's Grocery, celebrating the borough's Centennial Birthday, and daily mechanical training from his dad, Jack Constable, remain deep in his memory.
After three years of welcoming customers in Coatesville, Larry responded to an opportunity to move the business into his hometown of Parkesburg in 1985. Thirty years of value-based business, dedicated employees, a tremendous client base, and God's blessing have grown L.C. Auto Body Inc. into a valuable community asset. Our new location, on Route 30 — just 1 1/2 miles west of the intersection of Route 10 & 30 — is a state-of-the-art facility that now allows us to provide mechanical repairs. A payroll of one has grown to a complete and capable team of more than twenty employees, producing excellent auto-body repairs and superb customer service. Our handful of customers has also grown into a great list of loyal repeat customers, with new clients being referred daily.
Colossians 3:23 (NIV) says, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord." This verse inspires us and gives us the passion that developed our slogan. We humbly move forward in our strive for excellence. We are always eager to share the recipe of our success — blessings from the Lord, a team of dedicated employees producing excellent workmanship, and a community filled with loyal customers.
